I think it’s best when discussing things, not to over estimate your audience’s knowledge base.  That doesn’t mean, consider them stupid, just to have the point of view that not everyone has the same level of understanding on every subject.  I know personally, more often than not, I wish someone had given me a little background info on what they were talking about, so I could understand better.  Having said that, I have an RSS feed for my site.   This allows my readers to stay current with my posts and not have to check my site all the time.  ALTHOUGH, I’m totally happy if you do that too :)

If you don’t know what an RSS feed is.  Wikipedia has more info on it then you would ever need.  And this site, breaks it down really simply.  And now that you are in the know,  you can subscribe to my site!

Moving to the Mountains

-->

I just wanted to write a quick post. I am in the process of moving. I will be dividing my time between Los Angeles and Tehachapi. Why Tehachapi you say? I am a volunteer for the American Foundation for Tibetan Conservation AKA Ari Bhod. I am now in the process of moving out of my Silverlake place and gearing up for the mountains and for Winter!

As a side note, when I moved back to LA from NY I thought I would NEVER need my winter clothes. Which, for those of you who knew me in New York during winter time, knows that this is laughable. My “idea” of winter clothes was well, exactly what you would expect from a Valley Girl. Not enough layers and boots that looked warm but weren’t water resistant. I think it took the entire three years of living there before I got the idea. And even then, aside from the proper winter coat, I was clueless.

However, having the best Jewish mother ever, my mom was kind enough to find me boots for an early birthday present! And not just any boots, but Merrell “Spirit Tibet” Boots. I thought the name was very fitting.

Let the early Birthday present shopping begin!!! OH! and for those of you who would like to get in on the birthday gift express train, my birthday is December 12th (12/12)! XO

Sandra’s Business Card

-->

I’ve been keeping busy as usual and wanted to keep everyone posted on what I’ve been doing. Those of you who know me, know that I don’t eat sugar. EXCEPT on rare occasions. Anytime Sandra bakes something, I always make an exception. Therefore, I was more than delighted to design her business card. I photographed one of her super yummy red velvet cupcakes for the back and designed the front of the card with all her info. If you live in the Los Angeles area and are looking for exceptional sweets, I highly recommend Mama Sweetas!.

The Bee Eater

-->
The Bird and the Bees…
I’ve been working on a new line of note cards. I made two variations on this. One is a traditional folded note card with a glossy finish and the other is a flat notecard (postcard style) with a matte finish. Both versions come with envelopes. I should have these up on my etsy store within two weeks!

I anticipate this being the beginning of a new line I am designing. One will be the straight up blank inside version for my etsy store. The other will be personalized versions for the holidays!

How exciting!

Other Awesome Stuff I Sell… Buying this helps me to pay my rent. It also helps cover the OMG vet bills I just paid when I had a lil scare with my dog Jack.. You’ll hear more about that and him later. He’s kinda the raddest dude ever. It’s true.
